McAuley Chair

Professor Philip Hill, who holds the McAuley Chair at the Centre for International Health University of Otago, delivered the Inaugural Professorial Lecture entitled Tuberculosis control in developing countries – should latent infection be treated? on 18 March.
The event also marked the official opening of the Centre for International Health. The McAuley Chair is funded by the Sisters of Mercy through Mercy Hospital, Dunedin and represents a significant contribution to Mercy’s commitment to address poverty worldwide and support the United Nations Millennium Development Goals.
