The Difference Mercy Makes
The trend in recent times has been for Mercy’s established ministries to be entrusted to lay companions in mission, freeing sisters to explore new pathways of compassion and care. Either way, it’s Mercy which still hears the call and responds to it.
People become involved because they see Mercy making a difference to people’s lives. Health professionals, educators, community workers and all who minister in Mercy’s name, hold a privileged place in working to transform the human condition, especially when it is most vulnerable and at risk. The stories below serve to illustrate this.
